Dahye Annie Jung is a graduating student pursuing a Master’s of Music degree in Instrumental Performance major at New York University, under the mentorship of Professor Soo-Kyung Park. Prior to her advanced studies, she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance within the Secondary Education stream at the University of British Columbia, studying under the guidance of Brenda Fedoruk. Additionally, Annie achieved the Royal Conservatory of Music ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance,honing her skills with her dedicated instructor, Monica Lee.
Throughout her musical journey, Annie has showcased her talent as a solo flutist in numerous performances such as New York University Orchestra, Broadway Orchestra, UBC Symphony Orchestra and various chamber ensembles. Her commitment tomusic education extends beyond her own studies, as she possesses extensive experience in private and group teaching of flute, piano, and music theory. This includes her most recent role as a Graduate Adjunct Faculty member at New York University, where she imparts her knowledge to students of various ages and skill levels.
Driven by a profound dedication to both teaching and performance, Annie is excited to start her DMA program at NYU in Fall 2024, marking a significant step forward in hermusical career.
